About ICGYSE
The International Congress on Gifted Youth and Sustainability of Education (ICGYSE) is a high-level academic platform dedicated to discussing and sharing advanced instructional models and practices aimed at nurturing today’s gifted youth.
The congress focuses on how these innovative approaches can be effectively implemented within the framework of sustainable education, fostering collaboration among scholars, educators, and policymakers to ensure the long-term development of gifted education worldwide.

Dr. Hasan Said Tortop worked as a science teacher for 11 years, including the last 3 years with gifted students. He completed his first PhD in Physics Education (Renewable Energy Education) and then joined Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University. There, he founded and directed the Education Program for Gifted Bridge with University (EPGBU) for 4 years. He is the founding and managing editor of the Journal of Education of Gifted Young Scientists (2013) and the Journal of Gifted Education and Creativity (2014). Dr. Tortop has authored around 20 books and 150 academic articles related to gifted education. He has provided professional development training to over 1,500 teachers on differentiated instruction and delivered family education programs to more than 500 families on talent and creativity development in gifted children. His second PhD, completed in 2023, focused on twice exceptionality (2e). Currently, he serves as an editor at Genc Bilge (Young Wise) Publishing, which he founded in 2015, teaches part-time at several universities, and offers consultancy to families of gifted children.
